In 2002, Pesco designed and built a state of the art solvent recovery facility in Eden, North Carolina. The facility includes a large Hast Alloy C film evaporator, combined with a set of Stainless Steel Packed Columns. The system includes a vacuum system capable of achieving vacuums down to 50 mmHg. This state of the art fractionation system can process many different solvents to better than Virgin Solvent Purity. This system has been processing primarily NMP combined with salts, water and other contaminants. It has been doing this for Solvay, and returns the NMP back to Solvay for reuse.
